1. Data Collection

We collect only your email address for account security and authentication purposes. This information is required to identify your account and manage your data packages.

2. Data Storage & Live Sessions

Tour content (cards, images, audio, GPX routes) is primarily stored on your local device to ensure offline accessibility. However, when you host a "Live Session", the specific content you choose to broadcast is temporarily transmitted and stored securely on Google Firebase servers. When you click "End Session", this data is immediately overwritten, leaving only a farewell screen. To prevent data accumulation, any inactive sessions are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within 24 hours.

3. Third Parties

We do not share your email with third parties for marketing. Authentication, live session data routing, and payment processing are handled securely via our trusted partners: Google Firebase and Stripe.

4. Account and Data Deletion

As a user of GuideAssistant (developed by SIA "Ūdensstrazdi"), you have the right to request the complete deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Steps to request deletion:

Send an email to martins.platacis@gmail.com from the email address associated with your GuideAssistant account.
State "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line.

What happens to your data:

Deleted: Your email address, authentication records, and any temporary Live Session data on our Firebase servers will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.
Retained: If you have made a premium purchase, basic transaction records (e.g., payment receipts) are securely retained by our payment processor, Stripe, solely for legal, tax, and accounting compliance purposes. Local files saved on your physical device (such as GPX routes and offline workspaces) remain on your phone until you manually uninstall the app or delete the files.
